When you sleep, you go through different phases of sleep. These phases could be distinguished from many scientific studies on brain activity during sleep.
You did not sleep, you are awake and in full possession of your mental faculties. Your brain emits a beta though distinguishable by scientific measuring devices.
You know this first stage, remember all the times you made a dream come true, or else when your consciousness is also part in a session during well boring.
During this first phase of sleep, the brain emits alpha waves and theta waves. The wave indicates that Alpha is still awake.
Your body relaxes, your breathing becomes calm and our brain goes into an altered state of creativity and imagination. This step is different for different people, there are those who remember the events of the day, and those who begin to see associations with wacky images from all sides. Usually when you start seeing these signs, the sandman is expected soon to come.
This phase is very important for health. The brain's electrical activity is reduced and the body is rested. Cell division and growth hormone production takes place during this step.
The brain is active, the subject can be awakened at any moment. This phase occurs every 45 to 90 minutes. It is as important as the phase of deep sleep.
