The weekend is the worst enemy of your sleep cycle. Many believe that the weekend is done to get to sleep and we can long watch and alarm clock after a late morning grassee that we consider well deserved.
Note that this change of pace is bad for your sleep cycle. So you must keep the same pace and the same waking hours a week of work. Surely you do not need to "catch up" on sleep.
If you sleep for 10 hours, it will only increase the period of REM sleep. REM sleep will not help you to relax because the brain is active during this phase.
Set your alarm clock so at the same time all the days of the week. You must have exactly the same sleep cycle so your body gets used. Your sleep will be agreeable.

Very interesting, but please: no lie-ins and thanksgiving morning! Or mornings graces, but then What do you mean by that? Certainly the "Thanksgiving morning" in the morning it will keep us awake
